By purchasing items from the Clay Toppers web site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
Product Application
Clay Toppers are created for, and intended to be used, as ornaments. They can be displayed on any flat, stable surface or placed on a flat cake top or bedded firmly in an uneven cake surface.
Contacting ClayToppers
ClayToppers is a part-time business, and as such, no times of availability can be guaranteed for answering telephones, instant messages or e-mail messages. Also, due to the nature of hand crafting using clay, it is a challenge to keep the phone clean and the topper being produced clear from contamination at the same time! The most managable solution to this issue is for customers to leave a message and wait patiently for a response.
Lead Times
Once designs have been finalised, the actual creation of the topper(s) is relatively quick. However, to avoid last minute disappointments, I recommend that payment is sent at least two weeks before your event date, so that your items can be created and despatched in good time. I cannot be held responsible for items not arriving on time due to payment not being received. If the situation permits, it may be best to arrange to have your order fulfilled a month or so before your event.
Deliveries
Clay Toppers cannot be held responsible for delivery times. Special Delivery only is guaranteed next day delivery, once sent. Delivery times are provided by the carrier, excluding weekends and bank holidays, and may vary with package origin and destination.
Returns
As the toppers are all made to order and are personalised I am unable to offer refunds on the toppers but in the event of loss or damage in transit I am happy to repair or replace the item once it has been returned to me. We will of course contact you to discuss this beforehand. When ordering, try and include as many contact methods as possible. If you need to cancel your order before work has begun 50% of the balance will be held as a cancellation fee. Please contact me to discuss this as the Shopping Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to personalised goods or goods made to a consumer's specification.
